In a recent sit-down with Kontor’s Leo Sergiou, James Green, Co-founder of the rapidly growing Appetite, shared the story of their team’s move from Mayfair to a vibrant new space in Shoreditch. The two connected easily, not only through a shared loyalty to Spurs but also thanks to Leo’s honest, hands-on approach throughout the office search; making the move pretty easy.
James recounted how the search started with a lot of enthusiasm on his part, maybe even a bit too much, as he jumped at the first round of offices Leo sent his way. But Leo, who prides himself on an honest approach, advised James to take a step back and not rush into any decisions. “He kept saying ‘No that's not what we do’ I can take you on as many viewings as you would like, and we will find you a space.” James shared. “And that was also the other thing that really attracted me to Kontor.” This patience and guidance helped Appetite land a spot that truly ticks all the boxes.
For Appetite, there were a few non-negotiables in the hunt: a dog-friendly space, two meeting rooms, and parking. And Leo delivered, securing a Shoreditch location that gives Appetite’s team room to grow in an environment that’s fresh, creative, and full of energy; an ideal match for an ambitious team with big plans on the horizon.
